Mrs. Julia A. Cooley died yesterday at her home in Clark's Hill, her demise being attributed to the infirmities of age. She was born in Marion county on the present site of Indianapolis July 15, 1835. She was married to Joseph Cooley, who died thirty years ago. Mrs. Cooley was a member of the Methodist church and was a woman of lofty character. She was well known and highly esteemed throughout Tippecanoe county. The following children survive: William Cooley, of Dawson City, Canada; John, Milo, Moses and Edward Cooley, of Clark's Hill. The funeral was held from the U. B. Church this morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. George Trinkle officiated and the interment was in the Clark cemetery near Clark's Hill.
