Hannah was married on 28 December 1777 to Jason Cady, the son of Samuel Cady and Elizabeth Winter, as his second wife. Her husband had served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War just prior to their marriage, and in 1778 the family moved from Shutesbury to Shelburne, Mass. They lived there about 12 years, but in March 1790 moved to Waterbury, Vermont. Hannah and Jason had ten children together. Following her husband's death, Hannah is almost certainly the 70-79 year old woman living with her son, Jason, Jr., in Waterbury, VT. Her son Jason was widowed by 1840 and went to live with his son, Enos, in Stowe, VT. It is likely at about that time that she went to Chittenden Co., VT to live with her son Ira.
