JOHN BARWIKOWSKI, 56, of 1621 Burnet Ave. died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Erie, Pa., he was a Syracuse resident 54 years.
He was employed at the G. A. Garun Corp. Mr. Barwikowski was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Theresa Banvikowski; a son Wayne Banvikowski; two brothers, Alexander and Casimir Barwikowski of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lettie Kopoczek, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Labacz Funeral Home, 616 Teall Ave., and at 9 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrement Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow.
