Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Sherrill. Burial is in National Cemetery, Rock Island, where military rites will be accorded.
Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. today at Behr's Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, Iowa, with a parish wake service at 4:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
He was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Moline, to Harry and Ruth Humphreys Goar. He married Deborah A. Hayes May 29, 1992, in Dubuque.
Survivors (and spouses) include his wife; daughters, Mary (Ray) Riley, Central City, Iowa, Beverly Goar (fiance: Mike Hamm), Benton, Wis., Elizabeth "Liz" (Mitch) Roop, Tampa, Fla., and Melissa Bussan, at home; sons, Robert A.
