Harold was born July 29, 1921, in Council Bluffs, to the late George T. and Carrie (Eveland) Drummond. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1939 and attended Stevenson Mechanic School in Kansas City. Harold served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Frances Asikin on January 7, 1947, in Hiawatha, Kansas. They were blessed with one son, John. He was a mechanic for International Harvester and Nebraska Tractor and Equipment.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Earl and Harry Drummond; sister, Delores Clark; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Drummond.
Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Drummond; son, John Drummond, both of Council Bluffs; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Roy Drummond, of Ames, Iowa and Robert Drummond, of Council Bluffs; sister, Evelyn Hancock, of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews.
