Betty J. McKinley Cripe, 86, of Delphi, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi.
She was born July 18, 1924 in Salem to the late Clarence D. and Mary A. Wiseman McKinley. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
She married Loyal Cripe in Delphi on Sept. 11, 1955. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, James "Jim" Cripe (wife: Nancy), and Kevin Cripe (wife: Kim), both of Delphi and John Cripe (wife: Laura) of Downs, Illinois; a sister, Sarah Lewis of Rockford, Illinois; a brother, Jim McKinley (wife: Sue) of Terre Haute; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
