Dr. Rosemarie Ann Leandri, 69, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla.

She was born on September 1, 1941, a daughter to Daniel J. and Mary Leandri in Kingston.

She earned her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College in 1977.

She had two family medicine practices, Dresher, Pa., and Coral Springs, Fla. Later, she was an administrator and professor at medical colleges in California and Florida.

Among her many hobbies she enjoyed collectibles, dog breeding and competing in dog shows, floral design and interior decorating.

Rosemarie was a dedicated and faithful Catholic, and for 20 years she was a lector and Eucharist minister.

She is survived by two children, Jim Maynes, Winter Springs, Fla., and Michelle Gallarelli, Windermere, Fla.; sister, Dianne Petroski, Dallas; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Collison Family Funeral Home Chapel in Winter Park.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the St. James Cathedral in downtown Orlando, Fla.

She will be laid to rest following the Mass at The Garden Memorial Park in Boca Raton, Fla.

Arrangements are entrusted to Collison Family Funeral Home Winter Park, FL 32792.
