Ruby Dorothy Painter, 90, died August 19, 1996, in Price, Utah.

She was born July 12, 1906, in Howell County, Missouri, to Dr. Junius Warren and Anna Liza Johns Bingham. She married George Lester Painter on December 10, 1927, in Sarcoxie, Missouri. He died April 28, 1992.She taught high school for several years before becoming a partner in a family-owned chain of movie theaters in Florida. She was most proud of the fact that all six of her children graduated from college.

She is survived by three sons, Don Painter and Bob Painter of Florida, and Bill Painter of Price; a daughter, Marjorie O'Sullivan of Calif.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeannie Cantrell and Carolyn Hudnall.

Funeral services will be at Fausett Mortuary in Price on Tuesday, August 20, at 11 a.m., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
