He worked 20 years at International Harvester Co., Farmall Works, Rock Island, and at Dusablon Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rall "Pete" Miller Conn, December 1978. He was also preceded in death by his twin baby siblings, Rall & Edna.
Survivors are his wife Joan; children, Edna "Edie" Powers, Rusty Louis Ruby all of Iowa, James Edward Ruby of IL, his Mother Hazel Conn, eight grandchildren, a sister, Hazel Cowan of Mo. & brothers, Pete & Edward Conn of Centerville
