Private James P. Curran
Private James P. Curran, who was inducted into the army six months ago, died suddenly Tuesday at Enid, Okla.
Members of Private Curran's family yesterday said they had no knowledge of his death except that it resulted from a head injury.
Private Curran, the son of Mrs. Catherine Curran Neslein, was 37 years old and lived at 2739 East Preston street. Born in Baltimore, he attended St. Andrew's Parochial School.
His body will reach this city today. Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ella Hudson, and three brothers, Edward F., Joseph V. and Francis M. Curran.
Funeral services will he held Monday at 9 A. M. at St. Katherine's Catholic Church, Luzerne and Preston streets. Burial will be in the New Cathedral Cemetery.
