Mrs. Betty [Bettie] Boggs Bentley, 78, a resident of Dallas for 43 years died Friday night at a hospital here. She was the niece of Governor Boggs of Missouri.
Surviving her are two sons, E. B. Bentley of Wharton and C. P. Bentley of Dallas, and one daughter, Mrs. Fergus D. Thomas, Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Ella Bentley of Olustee, Oklahoma and eleven grandchildren. She was the widow of the late J. H. Bentley.
Funeral services will be from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fergus D. Thomas, 3112 Holmes, at 10 a. m. Monday, with Dr. William M. Anderson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. She was for many years a member of that church.
