LUDLOW, June 9 -- (BSC) -- Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ludlow Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah Huguet, 79, who died at her home here at 11:10 p.m. Saturday (5 JUN 1947). She had been seriously ill for several days.
Father Paul Dinan will officiate at services at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rantoul. The body was taken to the family home Sunday from the Leonard-Stephens funeral home in Rantoul.
Sarah Cleary was born Feb 22, 1868, at El Paso, and was married to Paul Huguet on Sept 20, 1893. They farmed near El Paso for four years and then farmed near Ludlow until their retirement in 1939. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret, in 1919, and a son, Edward in 1906.
Surviving are her husband, four children, Mrs. John Graham, Ludlow; Sister Mary Vincent DePaul, Springfield; Francis and Mrs. Ray Hewerdine, Ludlow; 12 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Mary Corbett and Mrs. Ed Head, Rantoul; Mrs. Martin Stack, Patrick Cleary, John Cleary and Lucy Cleary, all of El Paso, and Ed Cleary, Paxton. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
