Jay L. Barrett, 84, of Burgess, VA passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was a member of Fairfields Baptist Church, Burgess, VA. and a World War II Army Veteran. Jay was a retired boat builder.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary Lois Barrett and two sons, Donald Reed Barrett and Phillip Lawson Barrett.
Survived by his daughter, Sherry Lynn Barrett and son Terry Lawson Barrett both of Burgess, VA and son Steve Edwin Barrett of New York.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Fairfields Baptist Church Cemetery, Burgess, VA. Rev. G. C. Harbuck officiated.
