REVEREND LEONARD W BARTLE formerly of Apopka, FL - died at the home of his son in Georgia. He was a WWII, U.S. Army veteran who was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He took up radio electronics after the war working in Detroit and then, when the family relocated to FL, he transitioned into television repair and owned his own shop, Bartle's M&M Repairs in Apopka for many years. He was ordained a deacon on November 20, 1979 by Bishop William H Folwell and served faithfully as a Deacon at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit for 30 years until retiring due to his health. He loved working with wood and his crafts are beloved treasures of family, friends and his Church. Preceded in death by his first wife, Enola and his second wife, Mary, surviving are brother, Bruce Bartle; children, Edward B. (Phyllis) of Orange City, FL, Randall L (Jeanette) of Brunswick, GA and Cassandra (Dan) Meurer of Rio Rancho, NM; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
