Hattie McDonald Collins, age 76, of Morristown died Thursday, March 8, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.
Of the Baptist faith, she is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mildred Talman and Mrs. Ruth Doran of Michigan and Mrs. Rachael Walker of Talbott; sons, Johnny McDonald of Whitesburg and Bobby McDonald of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Helen McDonald, with whom she made her home; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Coffey of Bean Station and Mrs. Myrtle Kinsler of Kingsport; step-sons, Floyd Collins of Jefferson City, Brownie Collins of Morristown, Ed Collins of Jefferson City and Leroy Collins of Morristown, and sister Ellen Clark of Texas.
Services were held Saturday in the chapel of Mayes Mortuary with Rev. Jim Mayes and Rev. Norman Turley officiating. Burial was in Adriel Cemetery."
Married: (1) Augustus McDonald, c. 1926; (2) Phillip Collins, 1957.
