Glennon Anderson
COLUMBIA FALLS -- Glennon R. Anderson, 84, died Monday afternoon in the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls. He worked as a dealer for the Kirby Co. in Great Falls until his retirement.
He was born July 4, 1896, in Fergus Falls, Minn., a son of Andrew and Mathilda Anderson. He was raised and educated in Fergus Falls. He enlisted in the Army after graduating from high school and served during the Mexican border campaign and World War I.
He married Harriet Fulxrud in 1930, in Minneapolis. He was a past commander for the Veterans of World War I of Great Falls. He resided at the Montana Veterans Home for the past two years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Survivors include his wife, Harriet, Great Falls; a sister, Irene Anderson, St. Paul, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Van Leuven Funeral Home in Columbia Falls, with the Rev. Ron Paulson of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Home Cemetery.
