Bishop Miles E. Fowler, pastor officiating. Interment Washington Memorial Park, Decatur. Doris Yancey Burks of Dekalb County, a school bus driver, who later became a MARTA bus operator for over 15 years before retiring She leaves to cherish her memory, 4 children, Barbara J. King, Sharon B. (Christopher) Evans, Thelma E. Burks and Dwayne J. Burks, 7 grandchildren, Kimberly D. King-Brown, William D. Vaughn, Dr. Sharcola D. Vaughn, D. Rashaad Burks, Monique L. Burks, Dewanna D. Burks and Franklin D. Burks, two great grandchildren, Desiree D. Brown and Kendrick L. Brown, one god brother, Wesley Wyatt, 3 sisters-in-0law, Minnie V. Wheaton, Ruby Lee Grady, and Evelyn Burks, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 am.
