On the early census, she is listed as Julia Holland, perhaps because either before or shortly after her birth her mother married a Michael Holland.
Obituary in The Morning Herald: Mrs. Julia Voight died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Belle Collins, 58 Market St. Amsterdam of paralysis at 79. Born in Ephratah in 1840, she went to Amsterdam in 1875. Survived by 3 daughters; Mrs. Josephine Campbell of Tribes hill, Mrs. Mahalla Bazaar of Altamont and Mrs. Belle Collins of Amsterdam, two sons; Earl F Voight of Amsterdam and Adam H Voight of Fort Johnson; one sister, Mrs Martin Shoup of Mayfield, several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her burial site is unknown but her husband is buried in the Johnstown Cemetery. Her brother, John Heath, and sister, Elizabeth Heath Van Allen, are buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
Her death certificate gives her age as 78 11 7 days and also lists her father as Daniel Heath. However her brother who died earlier has his father is listed as Nathaniel Heath. Her mother is listed as Elizabeth Duesler. It is therefore believed Nathaniel is her father's name. However it may be that the person filling the death cert. info was guessing and her step father, Michael Holland, was her father.
