DIES IN CHICAGO, ILL.

PLAINVILLE - Michael G. Colter, 35, of Logan Square, Chicago, Ill., a former longtime Plainville resident, died in Chicago Sunday, reportedly of natural causes.

Born in Milo, Maine, May 12, 1950, He was the son of John and Dolores (McSorley) Colter, both of Plainville.

He graduated from Plainville High School in 1969, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He moved to Chicago 12 years ago where he worked as an apartment superintendent.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Randy Colter and his wife Cindy of Plainville and Richard Colter and his wife Pat of New Britain; a sister Jackie Posadas and her husband James of Plainville; his maternal Grandmother, Estelle McSorley of Bangor, Maine; his paternal Grandmother Bertha Colter of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00a.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St. Plainville. Burial will follow in West Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the services.
