William A. Reschke
William A. Reschke, formerly of 105 Edtim Road, Eastwood, died yesterday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital.
A life resident of Syracuse, Mr. Reschke was a Navy veteran of World War I. He was employed by the city of Syracuse's Department of Public Works until his retirement in 1960. Mr. Reschke was a member of American Legion Post 1276 for 45 years. He was a member of the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal and a member of the Oldtimers Bowling League. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Surviving are his wife. Loretta Crosby Reschke; two sons, William of East Syracuse and Robert of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Belden Sterling of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Mrs. George Hayward of Chittenango; a brother, Anthony Reschke of Syracuse; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gang Memorial Chapel and at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
