Tressie was the first born child of Gilbert and Mary Wheeler Uithol & was born in Byron Center, MI. She had 7 siblings and grew up in Manton, MI. Employment opportunities lead her to Flint where she worked as a cook and nanny for the Ritter Family who owned Ritter Flowers. She met her husband-to-be, Lester Page, who also was employed there. They married in 1924 and had a family of 6 children, returning "home" from Flint to Manton in her retirement years. She had 19 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren when she died in 1992 from congestive heart failure at Munson Medical Ctr. in Traverse City. May she rest in peace.
