David Richard "Rick" Boyd, 44, of New Cumberland, formerly of Harrisburg, died Sunday at home.

He was an employee of Fersinius Medical Supply Co. and a former supervisor for Bethlehem Steel Corp.; a graduate of the former John Harris High School; and a social member of New Cumberland American Legion Post 143.

Surviving are a daughter, Margot Boyd Ring of Charleston, S. C.; his mother, Verna Mae Boyd of Harrisburg; and three brothers, Carl of Enola, Bradley of Middletown and James of Harrisburg.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Neill Funeral Home, Paxtang. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harrisburg Hospital, Memorial Fund, South Front Street, Harrisburg 17101
