Richard had lived in Chouteau for about 27 years. He was a Senior Operator for the Department of Transportation; he worked for them for 30 years. He was married to Carol Jean Franklin on March 2, 1971 in Locust Grove. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and was also a member of the American Legion in Pryor.
Richard enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, watching NASCAR and Drag Races. His daughter, Lisa, grandchildren and great grandchild meant everything to Richard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
