Mrs. Helena Guidry
Cankton, Louisiana
Funeral services for Helena Trahan Guidry, 86, will be held at 11 a.m.. Thursday (August 30, 1984) in St. John Berchman's Roman Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Guidry died at 11 p.m., Tuesday (August 28, 1984) in Acadia-St. Landry Nursing Home.

Survivors include four sons, Sidney and Curlis Guidry, both of Lafayette, Willis Guidry of Cankton and Eddie Guidry of Church Point; three daughters, Lila Menard of Lafayette, Mrs. Fabien (Ethel) Guilbeaux of Carencro and Mrs. Harold (Letty) LaGrange of Cankton; two brothers, Helaire Trahan of Carencro and Octave Trahan of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be conducted through 10 p.m. today (August 29, 1984) in Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, which is in charge of arrangements.
