BEECHMONT Linda Kay Ashworth, 49, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 at her residence.
Born in Paducah, Nov. 4, 1953, to the late Wilson and Mary Jane Ashworth, she was a school teacher for the Muhlenberg County Board of Education. She was a member of Livermore General Baptist Church and the Kentucky Education Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Christina (Clay) Taylor of Lexington and Kelley (David) Hobgood of Beechmont; two sisters, Gloria Day of Belton and Barbara Moore of Beechmont; two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Oct. 8, 2003 at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Day and the Rev. Rick Stanley officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m., Oct. 7, 2003.
