Martha Ohsie Dressler, 95, passed away peacefully on April 24 2011. Martha was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry Dressler, a Holocaust survivor saved by Oscar Schindler. Martha and Henry were never apart. They did everything together. A real love story. One could say they saved each other. Martha was also predeceased by her three sisters, Helen, Gertrude and Rascha. The four Ohsie girls were soul mates. Their devotion to each other paved the way for generations to come as far as family, love and values are concerned. Although Martha had no children, she was like a mother to her nieces and nephews. Her love for Donna (Stephen), Diane (Gregory) and Eric (Deborah) was immeasurable. Aunt Martha's face would light up when she talked about her great nieces and nephews: Andrew, Erin, Amiee, Arie, Hal,Gaby, Jonathan and Ben. They were her grandchildren. Martha's family always came first. Loyalty was her middle name. Martha had a real zest for life. She loved a party and was a real fighter...she wanted to live and she did. Aunt Martha was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by those who loved her. Graveside Services will be held at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach Wednesday, April 27 at 10:45 AM.
