Alfred G. Baker, 41 died at 5 o’clock Monday afternoon at a local hospital. His home was at 2310 South Eighth Street. he is survived by his wife; one daughter, Helen L.; two sons, Robert and Richard L. al of Lincoln; one sister, Mrs. Lulu Underwood of Bedford, Iowa; five brothers, Ben Baker of Nodaway, Iowa; James D., Bert R., A. L., and Thomas Baker, all of Lincoln; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. Baker of University Place; one cousin, Mrs. William Mendenhall of Elmwood. Funeral services will be held at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Hodgman’s Chapel with Rev. Paul C. Johnson officiating. Interment in Wyuka Cemetery.

Funeral services for Alfred G. Baker were held at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Hodgman’s Chapel with Rev. Paul C. Johnston officiating. The Westminister Presbyterian Church male quartet consisting go H. F. McCulla, Glen Mason, Jerry Latsch, and Earl Middle kauffman, sang. The active pall bearers were Joe Miller, Lester Pierce, Harry Gore, Harry Palmquist, Milo Caslavaky, and Ray Clevland. The honorary pall bearers: Clarence Becker, W. Sionagin, H. Leman, C. Westerman, James Lewis, H. W. Schmitz, Odie Avre, Harry Becker, and Dan Hellweg. Interment in Wyuka.
