ADA PEARL BLACK

Ada Pearl Black. daughter of Pearl and Ethel Hall Tillotson, was born May 24, 1904, at Osceola in Clarke County and died at Osceola Leisure Manor on Nov. 30, 1993. She was 89.

She attended Clarke County Schools graduating in 1920. She married Orval Albertus Black on September 27, 1925, in Des Moines. The couple became the parents of five children.

Mrs. Black was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star in Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1958; sister, Pauline Badger, brother, Jack Tillotson; two sons-in-law, Paul Meeker Reynolds and Henry Robert Ritchey.

Surviving Mrs. Black are (omitted for privacy).

Services will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. The Rev. Neville Clayton will officiate. Organist, Pennie Gonseth will accompany soloist, Orval Black as he sings Whispering Hope and How Great Thou Art.

Casket Bearers will be Orval Black, Gregory Black, Chad Black, Robert Ritchey, Roger Ritchey and Richard Ritchey. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
