DAVENPORT - Anna A. Kreiter, 73 of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
She was born June 12, 1935, in Farmington, Mo., the daughter of Earl and Ethel (Allen) White. On March 6, 1981, she married Kenneth H. Kreiter in Eldridge, Iowa.
Mrs. Kreiter was employed by AT&T prior to her retirement.
She loved quilting, reading, fishing and boating.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; sons, Michael (Peggy) Porter, Ivan Porter, Tracy Porter, Earl Kreiter, Russell (Janet) Kreiter, Jon (Kathleen) Kreiter; daughters, Cheryl Porter, Cathy Corwin, Kathy (Ed) Davies, and Dr. Shelley (Pat) Kreiter; 16 grandchildren ; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a son and daughter, Steven and Nancy Kreiter.
