Funeral services for Margaret Treat Black, 78, who passed away Sunday at the Northwest Hospital in Glendale, Arizona, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at the St. Paul Episcopal Church in Winslow, with Fr. Robert Maxwell Officiating. Burial will be in the Desert View Cemetery.

Mrs. Black, a native Arizonian, was born in Tucson and came to Winslow in 1916 and together with her husband Elmer H. Black, operated the Black's Jewelry and Petite Dress Shop until 1946 when they moved to Glendale and established a jewelry business.
Mrs. Black was a 50 year member of the Ruby Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eight and Forty and the Arizona Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer H., of Glendale, two daughters, Mrs. Bette Parks, of Litchfield and Mrs. Patricia Stratton, of Winslow, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mrs. Attie Locke, and Mrs. Elizabeth LaZear, of Winslow, and Mrs. Mabel Spooner, of Virginia.

Friends may call at the Scott Chapel, Wednesday Evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
