Grace Alf
FLORENCE — A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Grace Eleanor Alf of Florence, who died April 9 of age-related causes. She was 92.
She was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Eugene. [She married Edwin Everett Hale in 1932.] She married Albert "Pat" Alf in 1953; he died previously.
She was owner for 22 years of Alf's Ice Cream in McMinnville.
Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Sebree of Florence and Laura Lundahl of Juneau; a son, William Hale of Sherwood; and nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A son, James Hale, died previously.
Arrangements by Burns' Riverside Chapel Funeral Home in Florence. Remembrances to the American Diabetes Association.
