Lyda Marie Argabright of Jackson, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. She was born August 3, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas the daughter of C.E. Warren and Lily (Lowery) Warren. She was a LVN and worked many years for Dr. Jack L. Edison as well as doing private duty work at Campbell Memorial. She loved music and could play many instruments. She was also a gifted artist and volunteer. Before moving to Jackson in 1998 to be near her son, R.W. "Butch" Cronenweth, who with his wife, Peggy survive, she resided for many years on Upper Denton Rd. in Weatherford, TX with her husband, Joseph Harold Argabright who preceded her in death in 1994. Also surviving are the grandchildren she so dearly loved, Chris (Melissa) Cronenweth and Chloe of Florence, KY, Courtney Cronenweth of Jackson, Craig (Karen) Gilbert and Alex of Dexter, Brian (Maria) Gilbert and Sam and Tony of Milan.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, W.F. Warren and his wife, Frances; and her sister, Ruby Lee Lewis.

Per Lyda's request funeral services will be at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, TX at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 with the Reverend Burton Cook Jr. presiding. The family would like to thank the residents and the staff at the Residence at RidgeCrest for their friendship, support and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the American Legion Post 163, 703 Eureka St., Weatherford, TX 76086 or a charity of your choice.

Survivors: Son, R.W. "Butch" Cronenwethved and wife, Peggy.
