Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Lineville Methodist church for Mrs. Bertie Casey, 71, who passed away Thursday night at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
She was taken to the hospital after suffering a stroke on Wednesday. She was in Des Moines at the time.
Mrs. Casey is survived by her husband, Oral; three daughters, Vera Laughlin, Marcelle Green, both of Des Moines and Coyle [unreadable] of California and one son, Homer Casey, of Lineville. Burial was at the Clio Cemetery.

Bertie was married to Emmett W. Casey on April 5, 1903 in Clio, Wayne, Iowa.
