s/o Clara Drum & John Smith Eiteman
The deceased is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Eiteman, former residents of Rock Falls. Five years ago he moved from that city to Moline, where his home has been since that time. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, his father and mother, and three brothers, William [should be "Wilford"] of Moline, and Fred and Earl who live at home, all of whom will accompany the remains to Rock Falls tomorrow. He was a machinist by trade, and followed that occupation for a number of years. He was twenty-nine years of age at the time of his death.
Mr. Eitman [so spelled] will be well remembered by the people of Rock Falls, many of whom knew him well and respected him highly. He was a young man of unquestioned integrity and his circle of friends hold for him only the highest esteem. His early death is the source of sincere grief on the part of his friends here, and his grief-stricken wife and the members of his family have the heartfelt sympathy of all at this time.
