Obituary:
Mrs. Dorothy Springer Bagley, 82, Comus, died Wednesday, Feb 15, at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D. C.
Born May 31,, 1901, in Germany, she came to the United States when she was 5 yrs. old.
She was an insurance claims supervisor for 25 years with the Special Agents Mutual Benefit Association.
Mrs. Bagley was a member of the Monocacy Garden Club, the Upper Montgomery Children's Hospital Bridge Marathon, and the American Association of Retired Persons. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Women's Club, and resided in Montgomery County for 40 years.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Marion Leroy Bagley; two daughters, Norma J. Checkley, Orchard Lake, Michigan, and Lois M. Boston, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb 212 at St. Mary's Church, Barnsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Bagley's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society and Children's Hospital.
Next to her is buried an infant great-grandaughter, Sandra Sue Skipper (83752104).
Also buried next to her little cousin is another great-grandaughter, Lauren Christine Antonelli (83752132).
