He rode his bicycle all over Anchorage, even in winter, and he left a digital trail wherever he biked. He was just 36 years old.

The crash came at 12:09 a.m. April 5, 2011 when a Toyota Camry, driven by 59-year-old Melinda Talaro of Anchorage, struck and killed him.

Anchorage resident William E. Curry Jr., 36, died April 5, 2011, in an accident in Midtown.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St. A celebration of life will take place at Aladdin's Restaurant from 3 to 5 p.m. today. His cremated remains will be scattered over Mount Susitna.

William was born Feb. 9, 1975, in Baltimore, Md.

He worked in tech support for GCI.

He was a Freemason. William was involved with the Polar Bear Plunge for the Special Olympics. He loved technology, riding bicycles, theater, arts, music and playing games.

William is survived by his sister, Shannie LaMar; nieces, Jenny Norris and Kayla Becker-Botero; nephew, Kevin Cozart II; and great-nephews, Phoenix Norris and Kingston Becker-Botero.

He was preceded in death by Marilyn Becker.
