Alden Lynn Alexander died April 12, 2011, from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born February 13, 1937, in Roosevelt, Utah to Alden H. and Lurrine Johnston Alexander. He grew up in the Uintah Basin and was one of those "Basinites" that always loved it and wanted to return there.

He married Sharon Heiner on November 8, 1963, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of 7 children and grandparents of 23 grandchildren. Lynn loved the outdoors, traveling, hunting, and fishing. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he and his wife were able to serve two missions as a couple before his health deteriorated. He is survived by his wife and children and their families. They were the love and focus of his life.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 1941 N. Main, Farmington, UT 84025. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 18, 2011, at 11:00 am with a viewing beforehand from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at the Main Street Chapel located at 500 S. Main Street, Kaysville, UT 84037. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
