Dorothy Rowene Johnson, 83, of Cooper passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, in a Paris hospital.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in Delta Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.
She was born in Hopkins County on Feb. 16, 1919, the daughter of Gus and Cora Jaco. She married Thomas Johnson on July 26, 1961. She had lived in Cooper since 1987, after moving from Little Rock, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Johnson of Cooper; two stepsons, Ronald Johnson of Mabelville, Ark., and Gary Johnson of Cooper; three daughters, Martha Ellen Barrick of Conroe, Melba Janell Morgan of Wichita Falls and Sherry Wherry of Malvern Ark.; and seven grandchildren
