West Point – Mrs. Louise Ward Cohea, age 64, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 1994 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 28 at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Palo Alto Cemetery, Siloam, with the Rev. Walter Frederick officiating.

A native of Calhoun City, she had lived in West Point since 1958. She was a retired production worker for West Point Casket Company and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Adley J R Cohea, who passed away Mar. 17, 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Marie Wilson and Linda Gail Bigham, both of West Point; two sons, Robert Wayne Cohea of West Point and John Michael Cohea of Tupelo; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; seven sisters, Ruby Mae Easley of Vardaman, Minnie Chandler of Houston; Clara Opal smith of Eupora, Dora Margaret Cockell of Woodland, Stella Hollis of Columbus, Bobbie Harris of Tupelo and Ruth Lancaster of Southaven and three brothers, James Robert Ward of Woodland, Earnest Ray Ward of Houston and Willie Gene Ward of Eupora.

Pallbearers were her nephews. Honorary pallbearers were her neighbors at Ivy Lane, G W Smith and her former neighbors and friends of the Siloam Community.
