EAST LIVERPOOL - June L. Strobel Hoffman, 95 of Echo Dell Road and formerly of Kelly Avenue in Glenmoor, passed away at the Calcutta Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.

A daughter of the late John H. and Edna J. Stanley Henke, June was born on June 18, 1915, in East Liverpool.

A life time resident, June retired in 1977 after 25 years of service from the Homer Laughlin China Company where she worked as a mold stripper. She was an honorary member of the Glass, Molders, Potters, Plastics and Allied workers International Union.

June was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Church Woman.

Preceding her in death was her first husband Leonard W. Strobel on March 1, 1970; her second husband Howard S. Hoffman on July 29, 1989; and one step-daughter, Jean Moore.

Pastor Eric Edwards of the church will conduct services on Tuesday, April 12, at 2 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where the family will be present to receive friends from noon until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park in Calcutta. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in June's name to St. John's Lutheran Church at 400 Hill Blvd., East Liverpool, OH. 43920
