Pembroke - Jefferson Lynn "Jeff" Floyd, 40, died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a long illness. He was a retired painter, a member of the Pembroke Christian Church and a native of Bryan County.

Surviving are a son, Jeffery E. Floyd of Pembroke; a daughter, Miss Cindy Floyd of Pembroke; three brothers, Albert and Colon Floyd, both of Pembroke, and James E. Floyd of Garden City; and three sisters, Mrs. Hester F. Baxter of Savannah and Mrs. Lucille Webster and Mrs. Maxie McCoy, both of Pembroke.

Funeral: 4:30 p.m. today at Lawrence Baptist Church near Pembroke, burial in the church cemetery. Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke.
