THOMASVILLE--Henry Arthur Clinard, 79, died at his home on Rt. 2 this morning. A native of Davidson County, he was born June 24, 1878. He was employed as superintendent of the shipping room at Standard Chair Company. He attended Fair Grove Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Miss Nannie Westmoreland; three daughters, Mrs. Everette Myers and Mrs. Walter Fuller, both of Thomasville and Mrs. Fred Clodfelter of Rt. 2 and one foster-daughter, Mrs. Cecil Honeycutt of Rt. 1. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Fair Grove Methodist Church Monday at 3 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Raymond Crowe and Rev. Albert Wellons. Burial will follow in the family plot in the church cemetery.
