Reed Mark Anderson, beloved husband, son, brother, and friend to all, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Bluffdale, Utah on March 29, 2011 to continue his eternal mission.

Reed was born November 18, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mark and Annette Anderson. He married Jennifer Tonioli on August 17, 2010 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Reed served a faithful and honorable mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rochester, New York until serious health complications required him to return home. He finished his mission in the Utah, Salt Lake City South Mission where he was an inspiration to many.

Reed's life was a life of service, and while his body suffered greatly from a brain tumor and chronic pain, he was always there to help someone in need. In a quiet and unassuming way, Reed found opportunities to bless the lives of everyone around him. Those who knew Reed loved him.

During his senior year at Riverton High School, Reed was awarded the "Spirit of the Silverwolf" Award which recognized his outstanding service to others.

Reed was an Eagle Scout and earned his Duty to God Award. One of his greatest joys was in constructing a pavilion for his Eagle Project at the Bluffdale City Cemetery. He mapped out and recorded each person buried there, as well as researching and posting pictures of each interred war veteran.

Reed seldom took no for an answer, and finished the SLC Marathon in 2008 after serious brain and knee surgeries, when others said it could not be done. Reed loved his Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a true disciple of Him.

Reed is survived by his wife, Jennifer; parents, Mark and Annette Anderson; sisters, Suzy and Melissa; and brother, Tommy. He is also survived by grandparents, LaRee Anderson, and George and Jeniel Apostol. He was preceded in death by grandfather, and namesake, Reed W. Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Bluffdale LDS Stake Center, 14400 South 2700 West, with a viewing on Sunday evening at the Bluffdale Stake Center from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at the Church on Monday prior to the services.
Interment: Bluffdale City Cemetery.
