Bentley Baker Crawford, 87, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

Born in Aberdeen, MS, Mr. Crawford had Lived in Oxford since 1969 after moving from Norfolk, VA.

He was Retired from the United States Navy with the Rank of Commander having served in World War II.

Mr. Crawford was a Member of the American Legion, the Rotary Club and the Rough Riders.
He attended First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011, 9:30 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS with Funeral Services following at 11:00 A.M. at the Church.
Rev. John Semmes will Officiate.

Interment will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen, MS.
Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.

Survivors include his Wife, Shelloy Persons Crawford of Oxford, MS; two Daughters, Shawn Crawford of Norfolk, VA; and Casey Crawford of Barbourville, KY; three Sons, Bentley Crawford, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; Dudley Crawford and Timothy Crawford both of Houston, TX; one Brother, George Crawford, Jr. of Aberdeen, MS; one Sister, Frances C. Wilemon of Aberdeen, MS; five Grandaughters and eight Great Grandchildren.

His Parents, George H. and Inis R. Crawford, one Sister, Inis Dickerson, and one Aunt, Johnnie McDowell, all preceded Mr. Crawford in death.
