Graveside services for Earl Gilbert, former local resident, held at Seaside Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Cole, pastor of the Radio Church of God, officiating. He died Sunday at his home in Olmito after an illness of several months. He lived in Corpus Christi from 1939 until 1942 when he moved to Olmito. Survivors are seven daughters, Mrs. Ott Powell, Mrs. Lee Dykes, Mrs. N. T. Toness, Miss Constance Gilbert, Mrs. Albert Wolf and Mrs. Vincent Bergthold; three sons, Myrdon, George and Harry Gilbert; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
