SENECA CASTLE

Mrs. Jessie Leila Lurie.

Seneca Castle, Dec. 24. - Mrs. Jessie Leila Lurie, wife of Alexander Lurie, died on Dec. 13th at her late residence, St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Lurie was a native of this community, and resided here until her marriage a few years age. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and interested In its activities until her removal from this place.

She leaves to mourn her loss beside her husband, a daughter, Phyllis, and her father, E. M. Whitney, a sister, Mrs. Alfred H. Johnson, and little George William, and Gladys May, step brother and sister.

The funeral services for Mrs. Whitney and Mrs. Lurie, were held on Tuesday at two o'clock at the home in this village, Rev. B. E. Grosh, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. Richardson, of the Methodist church. Interment at Whitney Cemetery.
