|We call this the Trigg House even though it was built by Jimmy "Dry" Saunders, cousin of Sarah Saunders Trigg. She and Col William Trigg bought the house about 1800. The walls are hand made brick, 22 inches thick. The owner in 1979 was Mrs. Johnson whose father purchased the property in the early 1900s. At that time the house was used for storing hay. He restored the house and added the front porch. These pictures were made when we visited Mrs. Johnson in July of 1979. Standing on the porch is our daughter, Kathy, Mrs. Johnson, who graciously gave us the history of her home, and myself. The house sits just across the street from Terrell Cemetery. (Dan & Paula B.
