MRS. BERTHA ROSE BENNETT

Services for Bertha Rose Bennett who passed away Friday, May 15, were held Sunday, May 17 at 2:30 at Graham Chapel with M. A. Talley of Florence, Alabama officiating. Burial was in the Graham Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.

She was 68 years of age and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include, her husband, Sam Bennett of Sheffield, Ala.; four sons, Herbert Bennett of Saltillo, Marvin Bennett of Cherokee, Ala., Paul Bennett of Cherokee, Ala, John Bennett of Sheffield, Ala.; six daughters, Miss Margaret Bennett of Sheffield, Ala., Mrs. Willie Hooper of Sheffield, Ala., Mrs. Lois Barnes of Guntersville, Ala., Mrs. Mattie Noble of Sheffield, Ala., Mrs. Marie Myers of Huntsville, Ala.; stepmother, Mrs. Mila Rose of Savannah; one brother Henry Rose of Savannah; three half brothers, Clantis Rose, Otis Rose and Ebb Rose, all of Savannah; three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Reed of Savannah, Mrs. Bessie Wallis of Savannah, Mrs. Mary Smith of Greenville, Miss., one half sister, Mrs. Marie Casteel of Savannah; 27 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
