A resident of Lizton, Laura Marie Hall, 92, died early Friday morning July 25, 1980 at the Hendricks County Hospital. Born June 10, 1888 in Ripley County, she was a registered nurse graduating from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis in 1923-24. Her husband, Nitis Hall, whom she married Dec. 20, 1924, is deceased. Mrs. Hall was past president of two chapters of the American Legion Auxiliary, that of Plainfield and Lizton. Other affiliations include the Lizton Christian Church, Pittsboro Order of Eastern Star and the Hendricks County Hospital Guild. She is survived by three sons, Charles and John Hall, both of Lizton, and James K. Hall, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Atkinson, Florida and Mrs. Mary Holwager, Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Russell Harrison conducted the funeral services held, Sunday afternoon, July 27, at the Lizton Christian Church. Burial was in the Lizton K of P Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home, North Salem, was in charge of arrangements.
