OBITUARIES

THOMPSON
Mrs. Nels T. Thompson. 83,lifelong resident of the city, died Sunday at the home. 834 North Fifth s t r e e t She had been in falling health two years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home, the Rev. Noah Bess, of the St. Paul's Methodist church officiating. Burial will be In Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson, nee Mathilda Thompson, was born in the Second ward in 1858. when Manitowoc was only a small community. In 1878 she was married to Mr. Thompson at Chicago and they came here immediately to make their home. Mr. Thompson died June 26. 1937. She was a member of the
Methodist church and the Ladles Aid society of the congregation.
Survivors are two daughters. Mrs. Cora Knutzen of Milwaukee, Mrs. Albert Cluaen of Two Rivers: two sons. Harvey and Meade of this city: sister, Mrs. Hattie Ericksen
of Revillo, S. D.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from this evening at 7 o'clock until the hour of services Tuesday.
